The aim of the Denmark-Japan Society is to support and develop
the cultural relations between Denmark and Japan and to broaden
the knowledge of Japan in Denmark.
The Society holds a number of meetings and gatherings throughout
the year. The themes of the meetings are varied and are often related to current events in Japan and Denmark.
The meetings are usually held in Copenhagen. Japanese citizens
studying in Denmark may participate in the arrangements free of charge.
The Society was founded in 1958 and is led by a board elected at the annual general meeting.
H.H. Princess Elisabeth is the patroness of the Denmark-Japan Society.
